Windsong is a small Rabbitry located in Massachusetts. Our bunnies are
raised in a clean healthy environment and they're played with every
day so they're very friendly and comfortable around people.
Angora rabbits have long, soft hair and come in a variety
of pretty colors.
Rabbits are easy to care for and are enjoyable, quiet company. They can live indoors or out and can be litter box trained just like a kitten. This breed of course requires a little more time than others in grooming because of the long hair. You will need to brush and comb them weekly. After the adult coat comes in you can cut it every 3 to 4 months to keep it from matting.
The little extra work that is involved is worth it as this breed is truly a joy to own. I recommend them for children but with an adult as the main care giver. English Angora's are a fiber animal and many people enjoy spinning the valuable wool from their bunnies to make soft, gorgeous sweaters, scarves, mittens, etc.
